About this tool
The first CSV row is used as the keys. Numbers and true/false values are converted to real JSON types, empty cells become null, and quoted fields with commas or line breaks are parsed correctly.
How CSV is converted to JSON
The first row is used as the keys. Every other row becomes an object in a JSON array. A header such as address.city creates a nested address object.
id,name,address.city
1,Asha,Jaipur
[{"id":1,"name":"Asha","address":{"city":"Jaipur"}}]How values are typed
Numbers become JSON numbers, true and false become booleans, and empty cells become null. Everything else stays a string. A value like 007 becomes the number 7, so check ID columns with leading zeros after converting.
Quoted fields containing commas, quotes or line breaks are parsed correctly. The tool expects comma-separated values.
How to use it
- Paste CSV with a header row.
- Choose an indentation style.
- Copy the JSON array or download it.
